"I know his service on the AARON WARD  had a profound effect on him.  He also served on the CROW during the "Korean Conflict"....that was 1950-52.

I didn't know Ed then...I know his father died when Ed was 10 years old, his dad was a Boston Police officer.  Ed graduated from Dorchester High School, don't know the year.  He worked in the Naval Shipyard, drove a cab in the city of Boston, became a carpenter by trade, and started a General Contracting business.  He has two sisters, Priscilla and Patricia.

Ed and I had two children, Son, Edward M.  and daughter, Robin.  They are now 40 (Ed) and 38 (Robin).  Ed is here with me at present - Robin is married and living in New Mexico.  Robin got her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Memphis State University.  So we had a "Dr. Quinn" in our family.

I did attend one Aaron Ward Reunion in San Diego, but only knew one person, so I have never attended another.  Ed and I did stop off and visit the Captain and Mrs. Sanders one time.)

One of the crew members, Roger Bissonnette was best man at our wedding Edward died October 9, 1972, at the time he was in business for himself as a General Contractor.  Edward was a finish carpenter by trade and a perfectionist."
