Electrician's Mate Third Class

Nicknamed "Cecil B. de Cezus" because he operated the ship's movie projector, he was at his duty station in the forward emergency diesel room when the Japanese attacked.

The ship's only source of power was the generator-- without it, the guns wouldn't fire.  The generators were overloaded and he kept power supplied to the guns by holding the overload tripper in by hand.
