John G. AnastasioMachinist Mate First Class
Name: James Soli CommentsMy fathers Navy WWII past was a closed subject through his life. He passed away in 1992, and wish I could have asked questions about the battle. I was able to get a hold of the book "Brave Ship Brave Men" which tells of the USS Aaron Ward and lists all the crew members. I did visit the cemetery in Elgin IL. to view the Anchor from the Ward. My gratitude to all the vetrans who served their great nation during WWII and to present. James Soli (MSgt USAF Retired) Name: Gilmerman CommentsJust thanking him for his efforts and giving his life to keep an insidious criminal nation desiring to inslave this mighty nation. |
